This ministry is located up in the mountains of Idaho at an elevation of about 4500 ft. with the nearest town being almost 12 miles away. This is a true "out of the cities" project. This ministry will be an agricultually based, gospel, medical missionary, country/wilderness living training center. We have a great media ministry and hope be releasing DVD's in the near future on country living as well as preparing physically, mentally and spiritually for the coming time of trouble.
Fun Facts:
Amount of people currently staying at this location: Six (ages range from 27 to 60 years old).
Length of time at this location: Three and a half years (as of March 2009).
Location: Three miles off the main road on a private parcel located in the middle of the Nez Perce National Forest.
Sustainability: Completely off the grid.
Funding: This is a self supporting Seventh-day Adventist ministry that receives no funding from the General Conference or any other organization. We rely on God to provide and this project started and continues to run on faith that our needs will be met. This usually requires projects to take a little longer for completion because we do not believe in taking loans nor lines of credit. Our projects (when completed) will be completely debt free which allows us to operate at very little cost or expense. There are times when there are absolutely no finances at all and yet we are completely content with what God has already provided. We simply look at this as a test of faith as well as practical training for the time when we can no longer buy and sell.
Our immediate needs: We can always use help for projects that require manual labor like getting timber and working in the garden etc. We don't really "need" but we could use a more powerful laptop or desktop computer in order to keep up with the demands of video editing and multi tasking projects that require high processing functions. We can also use a tripod or or pretty much anything to do with video production and media storage.... like external hard drives for example. We are also praying for any kind of video projectors in order to give presentations as we travel from place to place.
